HIRING LIST
The Exeter Fire District, Division of EMS are now accepting applications to create a hiring eligibility list.
The Exeter Fire District, Division of EMS has 6 fulltime Paramedic/cardiac that rotate on a 24 hour on 72 hours off schedule, We provide ALS coverage for 58.4 square miles 24 hours a day.

- Resume and Letter of intent
- Copy of successful completion of State Fire Chiefs Written exam RI - Fire Chiefs (firefighterapp.com)
- EMT can apply; Must have current EMT Cardiac or Paramedic License at time of appointment. (or currently in program)
All applicants will need to complete a physical agility test or submit proof of current Fire Chiefs PPA (with in last year) if you pass the written.
The recruitment period has been extended until Friday, May 31st, 2024, following a review of the application package, selected applicants will be notified and invited to participate in the next steps in the recruitment process which includes a written evaluation, and an Oral interview. Applicants who are selected will need to successfully complete a pre-employment physical, and background check.
