The Chambersburg Fire Department is actively seeking compassionate and committed individuals to join our ranks as entry-level firefighter/EMTs. This pivotal role involves responding promptly to emergencies, combating fires, and delivering essential medical assistance to those in urgent need. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with seasoned firefighters, gaining valuable experience and honing skills crucial for ensuring the safety of our community. The department responds to over 6,000 emergency calls annually.
Applicants will be testing to be placed on a certified Civil Service List for future openings within the department.
