FIREFIGHTER/EMTC
ABOUT HOPKINS HILL FIRE DISTRICT
The Hopkins Hill Fire District is a Fire District in the Town of Coventry, RI. The department responds to fires, medicals, and hazardous material incidents. Station apparatus include one ALS Rescue, one Class A Pumper, one 100' Ariel Quint, one Brush Truck and houses a State of RI Regional Decon Team. We provide automatic aid to the other Town of Coventry Fire Districts. Our department provides an all hazards approach to many critical infrastructures in the district including an Elementary School, Nursing Home, Several Large Box Storage Buildings and a Pharmaceutical Company. The Hopkins Hill Fire District is committed to delivering the highest quality of service to the Residents of the Fire District and the Town of Coventry.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
- Must possess a valid Driver's License
- Must possess a valid State Written Exam Score
- Must possess Emergency Medical Technician CARDIAC certification
- Pro Board Firefighter I and II
- Pro Board Hazmat Operations Level
- Must possess RI PPA Certification within the last year
