NOW HIRING: FIREFIGHTER PARAMEDICS
The Attleboro Fire Department is currently accepting applications for lateral transfers and new hires.
We are hiring using the new hybrid model approved by Massachusetts HRD. You do not need to be on the Massachusetts Civil Service list or on a Massachusetts Civil Service Fire Department to join our team.
We are welcoming applicants from:
- Civil service departments
- Non-civil service departments
- Third-party EMS services
- Certified paramedics
Lateral transfers can bring their time with them.
Options available for dedicated ALS ambulance assignment after graduation from the Massachusetts Fire Academy.
Highlights include:
- Starting salary: $81,233.00 – $91,076.20 (Step One)
- Certification pay
- 10,000+ annual calls
- 24-hour shifts
- Shift bids across 4 stations
- Advancement opportunities
- Up to 5 weeks of vacation
- Education stipend: $3,500 and up
- Health benefits: 25%/75% split
