CVTC is currently accepting applications for the
2017 FIREFIGHTER Testing Process
The 2016 Hiring Process is scheduled to open on January 2nd, 2017 and will close on February 5th, 2017. Do not wait until the last moment to apply. We will be offering weekly help sessions to assist with filling out applications. Those dates/times will be posted after the hiring process opens.
Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) is administering the application process for 14 regional fire departments. (Antigo, Ashland, Chippewa Falls, Chippewa Fire District, Eau Claire, LaCrosse, Marshfield, Menomonie, Onalaska, Red Wing MN, Rhinelander, Stevens Point, Wausau, and Wisconsin Rapids) Details of this process can be found at www.firedepartmenthiring.com
The Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) is required to be taken at Chippewa Valley Technical College, concurrently with the Hiring Process.
