Part-Time Firefighter/EMT

Assigned primarily to a Monday through Friday power ambulance crew for peak call volume times.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• NJ DFS Firefighter 1
• NJ EMT
• CPR

 

ABOUT OUR DEPARTMENT:

Since 1895, the Collingswood Fire Department has been protecting the lives and property of the residents of the Borough of Collingswood. Over the last 128 years, the department has evolved from a volunteer service to one with a fully career staff, with both part- and full- time personnel. Our firefighters work 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, typically staffing 2 BLS units and one Engine company. Our first response area is 2.2 square miles, with a population of 14,100 people as per 2020 Census data. Our community borders the City of Camden and is situated across the Delaware River from the City of Philadelphia. We provide automatic aid to to all surrounding communities.
